Bambang Parmanto is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Information Management at the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a PhD in Information Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests include data mining, web accessibility, telehealth and personal health record (PHR). Dr. Parmanto's research projects include developing a multimodal personal health record and location-based personal recommender. He is working on a project that aims to make the Web more accessible for people with disabilities, as well as developing an information infrastructure for telerehabilitation.
