Jonathan Ericson is an Assistant Professor of Information Design & Corporate Communication (IDCC) at Bentley University. His research on human-computer interaction (HCI), extended reality (XR), and cognitive science has been published in journals including Cognition, the International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Energy Research & Social Science, Big Data & Society, and Environment and Planning B. As a design leader and consultant, Jon’s work has earned a mention in Forbes, driven investments, supported a successful startup acquisition, and garnered industry awards. Jon teaches experience design courses in Bentley’s M.S. in Human Factors in Information Design (HFID) and IDCC programs. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from Brown University.
