Dr. Keebler is an Associate Professor of Human Factors at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His research focuses on simulation-based and game-based training, human-robot interaction, teamwork, military/unmanned systems, and healthcare systems. He also has extensive expertise in experimental, quasi-experimental, multivariate, and large sample design and analysis.
Mr. Shelstad is a doctoral graduate student in the Human Factors and Behavioral Neurobiology graduate program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His research interests include applied human-computer interaction, user experience, virtual and augmented reality, and purchasing in gaming contexts.
Dr. Smith is a Senior UX Researcher for the Cloud Developer Experience team at Google. He received his PhD in human factors psychology from Wichita State University in 2017. His research focused on modeling decision making as it relates to virtual currency and microtransactions.
Dr. Chaparro is a Professor in the Department of Human Factors at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She leads the Research in User eXperience (RUX) Lab, an academic research & consulting lab. Her research interests include the study of user experience (UX), usability assessment methods, future technologies, and mobile computing.
Dr. Phan received her PhD in human factors psychology from Wichita State University in 2015, where she led the design and development of the original Game User Experience Satisfaction Scale (GUESS). Currently, she works in the Google smart-home hardware division and leads a team in supporting UX research needs.
