Ms. Virendrakumar is a research associate at Sightsavers where she focuses on gathering evidence to improve the lives of people with disabilities and visual impairments. She possesses a master’s degree in Public Health.
Ms. Swain is a communications and digital strategy consultant. She spent nine years in consultancies as Digital Account Director, working with clients including Pfizer and Save the Children. She then moved in-house to look after policy, research, and program communications for Sightsavers. Now, she is a freelance consultant.
Ms. Murphy is a research advisor with experience in epidemiology and project management. Her focus has been on disability in operational research and monitoring to generate high quality evidence to address global knowledge gaps and programmatic challenges. She is also an active member of a women’s technology group in London.
Ms. Snilstveit is a Senior Manager, Synthesis and Reviews, and Head of the 3ie London Office. She has over 10 years’ experience working on policy research and evidence uptake. A focus of her work is developing and applying research methods that are both rigorous, relevant, and timely, including 3ie’s Evidence Gap Map (EGM) methodology, mixed- methods, theory-based systematic reviews, and the use of technology for rapid and "living" systematic reviews.
Dr. Schmidt has over twenty years of experience in public health and international health. She is currently the Director of Program Development, Evidence, and Research at Sightsavers.
