Adj. Prof. Luimula is working as a Principal Lecturer in game development for Turku University of Applied Sciences. He holds a PhD in Information Processing Sciences and an MSc in Mathematics. He is a Research Group Leader of Futuristic Interactive Technologies and is leading game development R&D activities in Turku Game Lab. His research interests include game development, gamification, serious games, health informatics, and location-aware systems. He has published around 80 scientific papers in the above mentioned research areas.
