Dr. Kelley is an IBM Master Inventor (42 patents and 24 invention publications) and certified Sr. Managing Consultant in the Research Insights practice of IBM Interactive Experience. As a Sr. UX architect and team leader, he has been involved in all aspects of client engagements: proposals, visioning, requirements, solution design/delivery, prototyping, UI design innovation, development, and stakeholder/customer interaction. He pioneered and published user centered design methodologies (for example, the "Wizard of OZ" simulation technique widely used in the HCI community). He also created AgileRemote: an award-winning, user-centered design methodology applying online surveys and Google Spreadsheets to gather/rank Agile User Stories that directly populate conceptual models and design prototypes which export navigation and content directly to development environments in various formats. He has earned the distinction of holding the following honors: Certified User eXperience Professional (CUXP), Fellow of the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society, and Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors.
