Arnie Lund, PhD, CHFP is Director of User Experience in Microsoft's Mobile and Tailored Platforms Division. He is a Fellow of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), and is currently serving on their Executive Council where he chairs the HFES Institute Subcouncil and is a liaison to ACM SIGCHI and UPA. He is on the editorial and advisory boards of a variety of journals and books, has published widely in the field of HCI, and has more than 20 patents and patents pending. Until recently, he also was serving as president of the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics.
